Genuine Advices from genuine people

I know that there are many people who always advices that love marriage is good but when it comes to their own family they do directly the opposite. How long people have this dual approach? They have a different approach when it happens to their family members. I’ve come across many people with this kind of attitude.

I can even recall one incident when our family was attending a marriage ceremony at Hotel United-21, Thane. It was a love marriage and we were distant relatives of the girl who was getting married. Since the girl work for Panoramic Universal Limited, she got the venue with some discount. When we reached there I found my uncle welcoming guest with a plastic smile on his face. He was the same guy who advised my father about love marriage. Once he saw me with one girl, who was my friend entering a mall. He immediately called up my parents and informed them about the same. He even told them love marriage is a common thing so they shouldn’t worry about it. Now, when his daughter is getting married he was complaining how she could do this to her family. I was about to say something but before it my dad consoled him. I would have confronted him by saying the same thing he said to my parents. It was not the right time to speak about it, also it is not good to hurt people if he already hurt.

So if you are taking advice from any person make sure its opinion is genuine. Or else if his advice lands you in any trouble don’t expect the same person to be bail you out. He would just change his stand and wouldn’t help you in your need. It is same case for the person investing in any investment scheme. He should use his own judgment so that if anything goes wrong with the investment he will have himself to blame.

Anytime coffee Shop

We were driving continuously for the last three hours without any refreshment. We were almost reaching home but we wanted to spare our work at home of preparing something. Though there were many dhabbas on the highway but I don’t like such places so we didn’t stop in anyone of these dhabbas.

I desperately needed a coffee and dhabbas don’t serve coffee or tea at these time. We were coming from Mahabaleshwar after a short vacation and it was almost 3 when we were reaching thane. My hubby told it was impossible to get a good coffee at this time anywhere in Mumbai but I was adamant on having one. After reaching Thane we were really were surprised and happy to see Anytime Coffee shop in Hotel United-21 Thane.

It was really great to see a coffee shop in Thane which caters to the public 24 hours every day. There are many other five star hotels which offer these services but the rates they charge are huge. Here in Hotel United-21 coffee shop you get an option to choose coffee from the many varieties of coffee, that too at a budget price. Mumbai being a city which never sleeps it is necessary to have many such coffee shops across Mumbai. Panoramic Universal Limited, the owner of the hotel should start such coffee shops and I’m sure they will earn more. The reason they will earn more is because when I first had a coffee at United-21 at 3.00 am I was confident that I will get what I want anytime in there. So from next time it became my most visited place. So if you get something from a hotel when you needed it desperately you will always prefer that hotel over others.

It would be a great if we have such shops in every city in India, though it is doubtful that whether every such unit would be profitable. Our government undertaking such project would be definitely path breaking event for us.

Sachin Tendulkar: A legend

Watching a cricket match in Wankhade Stadium is really amazing and when you see the “God of Cricket” in action it’s out of the world experience. The moment he walks in to the crease you would go just deaf with the amount of cheer you hear from the crowd. Sachin is believed to be the best player ever to play cricket in this generation. He has played very well in every format of the game. Be it test cricket, one day internationals or T20 format. He has played exceedingly well in all these formats.

Some might argue that he just plays for his records but he had played crucial role in many matches to help India win. No one could ever forget the Sharjah matches where he single handedly made sure that India wins the cup. Also many good knocks in Australia, West-Indies and England. I still the remember a commentary during the recently conducted India tour of England. I’m not sure who the other commentator along with Harsha Bhogle was. He mentioned about Sachin not included in the MCC honors list to which Harsha’s reply made all Indians proud. Harsha asked him as whose loss is it more, Sachin’s or the MCC’s? I remember this conversation as I saw it in Hotel United-21 where I had gone for a lunch with my college colleagues. The lunch was sponsored by Panoramic Universal Limited (PUL), as the prize of exhibiting some great performances in the college fest.

Even in the IPL if you observe Sachin leads the charts for the maximum number of fours hit by any player. This shows even in T20 format Sachin sticks to basic and hit shots to the ground instead of in the air. In one season he was also the highest run scorer in the league. So if you missed watching Sachin live in the stadium, you would definitely miss the delectation which would have been a memorable one.
